There's No Such Thing As A Free Doctor (TNSTAAFD)

Well, you would have heard that there is no such thing as a free lunch, but what about a free doctor? How about a free hospital? Thats what they have in England isn't it? And what about Canada, don't they have free healthcare there? Of course the answer is yes... and no.

Socialized medicine is becomeing more and more popular in socialist leaning countries. England for example has free health care, that is, if you fit the government's parameters for someone who is worth keeping healthy. In England, if you are a woman over the age of 70, you are no longer offered the free government sponsored breast cancer screenings that your younger friends are able to access. -see http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2-1599964,00.html

"AMSTERDAM, Netherlands Nov 30, 2004 — A hospital in the Netherlands the first nation to permit euthanasia recently proposed guidelines for mercy killings of terminally ill newborns, and then made a startling revelation: It has already begun carrying out such procedures, which include administering a lethal dose of sedatives."

Incredible isn't it? http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=293631
